Well the Christmas Party went well

had a nice chat with a few people, including a few I had not met before

There is one bloke there that seems to be deliberately ignoring me - he does the same thing that I do and lives quite close so covers the same area
but at things where a group of us get together he seems to avoid me if he can

I have no idea why


t I had a good time
we also had a Christas Quiz - out team came equal bottom!!!

It is real. Honest. The moon is currently in the east. I find the way the moon moves very weird. It seems it can appear in just about any quadrant.

Maybe it's not the moon you're looking at!

We did visit one person at home together because he had tried and failed to get something working for them

I went with him to see if I could help
I did it after some faffing about

I do wonder if he thought I was being cocky or something
but sometimes you just know something because you have more experience and not because you are trying to make them look bad

anyway - I might be wrong but ..........

If he’s upset that you resolved something he was unable to do so and has not learnt that sometimes others have the answer either through experience or greater knowledge.

Me as well. I eventually gave in to it and dragged myself out of bed.
Rain of various intensity all day.
Only 1 decision to make. My cleaner is due at 12.30 and I have the remains of this cold. I have it on the run but it still lingers.
The cleaner has a partner plus 2 young children.
So....... do I let her come or warn her off ??

Good morning from a persisting down with rain Dorset. Mrs Tkk had a cortisone injection in her knee yesterday, hopefully it helps, it's her " good " knee, the other being a titanium jobbie she had more than a decade ago. Doctor said the injection should last about 6 months and they could top it up once more. 🤞it works first time.

Off to Minehead on the HPC free bus this morning. Meeting up with mates for lunch in Spoons.
Had a phone call from New Zealand last night from a chap who wants a couple of Bantam bits off me. I was amazed at how crystal clear the line was - better reception than I get when I phone a mate 2 miles away.

It's not raining yet, but the forecast says it will most of the day.
Our son is calling in this afternoon, he has a squash match at the local club, so he'll be after an early tea.
I'll head off up to the local shops for a few bits and pieces later on.
