I popped out just for a 20 minute leg stretch and went into the Co-op when I was out. Now browsing while eating a handful of red grapes.

Just had coffee and a mince pie ( M&S bog standard ). I saw that some are advertised with various " enhancements " to the filling, Amaretto, Brandy, sprouts etc ( I might have made one of those up ). Far better to get a bottle of Brandy and a hypodermic syringe and make your own super boozy ones 🤔

Ride done and very good it was too although we had to navigate a flooded section of road that was very deep and long! Wet feet ensued.
Still, beats a turbo trainer by approx 100,000 times.

No problem with Yorkshire- im quite fond of the southerners there.

Its the teacI cant abide, but as it comes from India, Sri Lanka and east Africa I can forgive the Yorkshirists for having to use substandard materials.

I had to buy new slippers today as I trod on some dog poo in my bike shed.
Let me explain.
We are dog sitting for the two dogs our son has and they are in Poland till Friday. So, with Molly, we have three dogs in the house.
Yesterday, we were invited for lunch at a friend's house so I took the 3 dogs out first to do their business then left them in the house.
When we got back , I could smell something odd in the house but couldn't see anything abnormal until I went in the back room when I stood on it. That's where I keep my bikes.
So went to Asda this morning to get new slippers.
We also know which dog did it and it wasn't Molly .

Ours have the same colour lid as the actual bin.
Black = General waste
Green = garden waste (extra charge for this)
Blue = recycled ie glass, plastic, cardboard etc.
We have just been geen a 4th one which is small and just for 'food waste'........food waste? What is this thing?

Food waste will be useful for us - peelings mostly plus some things like bread that is past the sell by date ("someone" is fussy!!!)

Went for a ride this morning

I have been looking at Google maps and I reckoned that if I started out heading for "The Dream" (it looks like a penis!) and then turned off to the right then I could keep going on tracka and trails for a bit

Turned out to be really nice tarmac shared paths leading up to BurtonWood - somewhere around where the old air base used to be

not really sure where I ended up - must look at Strava - but I ended up heading South to try to find Warrington or some other place I knew.
I just headed in the general direction of the sun as that was about due South and if I headed that way the I would come across the Mersey sooner or later

Nice ride overall - cycle paths around Warrington - signs for them are a bit hit-and-miss but teh paths are great!

I normally use Tesco own brand

at the moment I am on Typhoo One Cup which I suspected would be rubbish but are not too bad
only using them because they were a present from a client at AgeUK - people bring presents in from time to time and they leave things for me that don;t involve gluten
My wife is none too happy about be bringing back tea bags rather than a box of chocolates!!!

Can't you clean or wash the slippers?
