We went to see our Daughter this morning, as I said earlier they are all coming to ours tomorrow, and she gave us our card which contained a photograph of her 12 week scan.
We are going to be Granparents for the first time. It is due at athe start of July. MrsP is ecstatic. 😁😁
Dinner is now on the go and should be ready around 5pm.

Congratulations. It's a wonderful thing being a Granddad.

Well Christmas Dinner has been done

just the two of us but SWMBO has done most of the stuff
(or so she says - I seem to remember a lot of chopping and other things but it is great that she feel swell enough to do things)

and dinner wat the best I have had for many year which is certainly down to her knwoing more about "studd"

and I am now officialyy pissed

and I am nt the only one
which means we have had a good talk about the stuff we were not saying before and needed to ne said

She knows me and knows that I am rubbish at saying what I need to say



so - Christmas has been good and we has helped a lot

The daughter-in-law was wonderful and talked a about her family and stuff while she was here

and I heard a small bit of it was the grand son was yattering at me about his game on his "pad" (its Android!!!)




so it looks like family things are getting better


and - believ it od not - I have spell cheked this
I might be drunk

I know. Im a mere 52° north here. Im more used to 60° north, and get regular nosebleeds in the thin and dusty air doon sooth.

Hobart Tas is 43 degrees south latitude in the roaring forties.
The snow was on the 1,270 metre hill in their backyard.

I sat up watching the 1st Jaws film last night. Hard to believe it was 50 (that's FIFTY) years ago when it came out. That age old question.....where have all those years gone!!!
Its Boxing Day......is that supposed to mean anything ie are we supposed to do something special/different ?

Morning folks, Mrs Tkk has just looked to see how many took part in Christmas day Poole parkrun - over 1600 !!. Just trying to visualise the sea of santas running around the park, hope no one ended up in the lake 🤞

Good morning. Dark and still, a nice day ahead. There are no plans. I'll do my stretches shortly and hopefully get out for a walk. It would be a good day to ride but I don't think I should mention this.

The dishwasher needs emptying and the remainder of yesterday's beef slicing up. Next task I think.

Rovers are on the box, I'll try to get my lad's Sky log in.
