Bloody nuisance after i have invested in the equipment to forge them. I was going to have a nice sideline going there.

Im losing all faith in politics of all persuasions, after the turmoil of the last government I really hoped this mob would of learnt the lessons on how NOT to run the country. Seems my hopes were wildly misplaced.

Just remember. When people say, "well, they couldn't be worse than the last lot!" you can laugh, safe in the knowledge you've just met an idiot.

I don't vote any more. They're all prats, tax dodgers, or in it for as many freebies as they can grab, and I want no part in helping any of them along, its very sad that people are feeling that way. This turkey ain't voting for Christmas.

After a busy morning I managed to get out for a spin, 28miles and 2000ft. The S wind really picked up by time I left so pretty tough heading out. I did have tailwind on return so that was appreciated although it never seems to adequately compensate for flogging into it!

I've rejigged my Friday hike route due to the weather. Hardly any point in hiking up Mam Tor, around Winnats Pass & down Cavedale in rain & fog.. I'll try again within the next couple of months.
I'm off to The Wash instead, probably.. 👍

I nice stroll around the village and canal was rewarded with bumping into a couple of friends for a chat. No, not the swans. Great to see this pair, our swans as we call them, have returned again. They usually breed about 20 feet from our bridge of the canal.
