Its very close. Mine is one of 300 produced for all world markets with a real carbon veneer instead of wood, aluminium or silver painted. That panel had delaminated and cracked and in two years I've not been able to find another, unsurprisingly. I chiselled off the veneer, sanded it down, and the guy did a 98% match - you have to really be looking hard at it to see the difference.

Pleased for you.
Thanks to my wife's patience we've survived 50 together.

That's good, better than good. May you have many more years together.

Just back from a ride

went a different way - up towards the theme park in Warrington - always forget the name of the place !

anyway - turned out it was a good choice wind wish - my normal route might have been a tad difficult at time

I did have 2 dodgy moments - had a constant side wind from the right as I went under the bridge leading to the Mersey Gateway bridge

as I went under the bridge the wind suddenly came from the left - and much stronger and I nearly came off!

then I wound along unfamiliar paths up through Warrington and some would suddenly become muddy rather than tarmacked

at one point the rear wheel decided that it would show it independent character and go a different way to the front wheel
managed to stay on - never even put a foot down!!

eventually decided I had gone far enough and tried to head sort of West and South as that is roughly where home is

which took a bit more wandering around
which was fortunate for someone living at number 68 of some road on a newish estate as I found their parcel in the middle of teh road - outside a house about 3 doors down
I stuck it behind their milk caddy thing - As I picked it up and rode my bike round in a circle to turn round, I was sort of expecting a local to start shouting that I was stealing it
not sure if I was dreading it or hoping for it!!

Winter sunshine on our walk in Chargot Woods a couple of days ago.
No fancy camera or filters - just taken on my Motorola phone.
