I have very low electrickery needs and the turbine is good way of getting batteries topped up at night or bad weather where the solar panel may be not producing much.

We've just had the comformation of our trip to Costa Rica and the rainforest for December, this year. So I have now booked our flights to San Jose, the capital, with British Airways which has a daily direct flight from Gatwick.
MrsP is happy, my credit card has taken a hammering.

I've done something I would never have thought I would do. I switched on the telly, while I was having a brew, just to see what is happening in the world. The broadcast was live from Davos. I've sat mesmerised for nearly an hour watching a car crash. Like planes falling out of the sky. I can't quite belive I spent an hour listening to Trump.

I posted my remarks on Facebook. They won't let me in for a while.

Halfway through making 3 engine stands.
Should be finished tomorrow and up for sale on Friday. They'll look a lot nicer when painted. :okay:

I saw a bit of what was said on BBC news at 1. Seems like Trump spoke for about an hour boasting about how great America is and it's all down to him. Most of it entirely made up or extremely exaggerated of course.

Good Morning. GRRRRR. I hate the Met Office. Wind and rain they said. All ride plans binned. I thought about an early start to grab 2 - 3 hours before the rain came in but it was VERY dark at 8.00am. Now we have a beautiful day. 🤬 All I can say is it better rain at 10.00 and the wind should hit 20mph by 11.00.............if not I will go and bang their door down!!

Meanwhile I've done a load of admin. Ironing next and then off to the gym. Later I need to investigate RideWrap for the new frame. It seems like a good plan as we have a naked frame available.

I find the best weather approach is to look at Met Office - then check it on BBC weather
then look at WIndy for the weather radar and see if the bad bits are coming this way or if it will easily miss

and for temperature I check Weather Underground for private weather stations nearby

This at least generally means that I only get wet on the way home
