I saw a bit of what was said on BBC news at 1. Seems like Trump spoke for about an hour boasting about how great America is and it's all down to him. Most of it entirely made up or extremely exaggerated of course.

Truthfully some of his claims were just extraordinary. Anyone with the tiniest knowledge of 20th century European history or current affairs knows this. He mixed up Iceland and Greenland - which must be a worry for Icelanders!!!

The applause was polite but very muted.

I think someone got their units of measurements mixed up in reporting the weather.
