A pal “down under” messaged me this evening….it was officially 50° near him earlier 🥵

Suddenly the weather here feels just right here…perfect for a small pub crawl tomorrow. I’ve been doing an anti-dry-January thing (not sure if I mentioned it) - #31PubsInJanuary: I’ve managed 30 so far 🍻. A truly selfless task aimed at helping keep pubs open 🤓
Not always a beer, before you worry: sometimes a coffee or lunch 😎
Meanwhile….expensive curtains are up, now it’s down to MrsMikeIOW to take the bottoms up ever so slightly. My work there is done 🤪

Oh yes: @PaulSB - that track by TheBoss is very poignant. Change is in the air, & it can’t come soon enough 🙏

Good morning all.
Wet here.
I had planned an 8 O'clock Aldi dash but my daughter has a delivery from Asda so I added to that. TBH I prefer Aldi for many things but this saves me going out. I can go back to bed for an hour instead.
A day of tv sport I think.

20° is fine. 18° imo is better but I could handle 20° by the pool. Is there any breeze?

Well that looks very inviting .
Aldis own brand lower price Vodka is imo very nice. They have a 'better' one but it's some £4 dearer .

I once made some very passable Limoncello using that as a base ( unwaxed organic lemon rind soaked for 48+ hours, add sugar to taste )

Possibility of a ride later if it clears up and if brake pads arrive for rear brakes as they'd worn completely down.
Otherwise bit of vacuuming and sort out this morning.
Also need to repair garden fence as it's been broken into, suspect is black and white, furry and lives in a sett.
