Until recently my Dad owned a plane, a Socata TB20 Trinidad (G-TIBS).
Alas, he was struggling to pass the medical as the big 8-zero approach so he sold it about 2 years ago.
Oddly, although he could fly fixed wing, including multi engine and tail draggers, he couldn't fly rotary wing aircraft... which was a bit of a pain for a helicopter salesman. That said, most of his colleagues couldn't fly at all.
He tells me there are more controls than limbs and like patting your head and rubbing your tummy at the same time, you either get it or you dont.
