I got me a Doogee Fire 6 Max.
Six months on standby, a week watching youtube videos(If I were into watching them).
Morning walk done in mild, spring like conditions. The groundskeepers were sorting out the water hazards at the local golf course as we walked along the trail way, looks like new life belts too.
Drizzle started after we reached the pub. Tried a pint of Plum Porter which was excellent. Back home now ready to doze off in the chair...

Salut from North Devon..,..........again.
Here for just one night as we are going to Brighton tomorrow afternoon, all in the same car ( not mine), for grandson's graduation. He is now a full fledged paramedic. Back to Devon on Friday and home on Saturday.

I bit the bullet and arranged for a guy to come and make me a spare car key.......mine has been missing since I moved into the flat.
The guy asked me to send him a photo of the key, just to double check. When I did he phoned me and told me that the remote buttons look worn and that Vauxhall keys are renown for it.
1. Right after he phoned I nipped to the Spar. Arrived, got out of the car and....... the button had gone !!!! Popped out, disappeared.
2. The guy arrived, I gave him my key and literally 1 minute later my SiL found the original spare. When i was ill and couldn't drive it appears that I hung it on a hook and promptly forgot about it.
I now have.......
One new key with remote.
One spare.
One iffy key with a remote that works if I shove something where the button was.
What fun i have had.

Brilliant......give your grandson my congrats and admiration.
I would just seriously faint if I had to sort a bad cut out.
A friend of my son qualified, must be 20 years ago and has progressed well.

Oh my word a great day in Wetherspoons,i was first there,so i began with a brew and a breakfast muffin,you got a toasted bun a sausage ,bacon,egg and a melted cheese slice then a second coffee as a refill,price a staggering £4-09,what is not to like.Then two pints of Terrys chocolate orange stout,a pint of Rev James a lightish mild,not bad but not a favourite,then a boneless basket three fried chicken strips five chicken nugget sort of things and crispy chips and a pint of cola.I was the last to leave 15-00.Down to the Leeds United shop and a badge for my jacket,then missed my bus 30 min wait,in to Nero a latte and my free,sticky toffee cheesecake,guess what i am not having any tea tonight.All is well,i feel unwound.

Got a notification that my favourite map app had updated so I was browsing the local area. There's some great place names, Lilliput is an area in Poole, Happy Bottom is a couple of miles up the road near Corfe Mullen. Found " Amen Cottage " which is at "Amen Corner " which is at the top of the" Custard Hill " near Gussage All Saints 😎

I’ve been enjoying the curling at the Olympics. Great gold for Sweden down to the final stone.
I watched the Irish water polo game,what a shame about the horses though.
