another busy day

Age Uk appointment this morning and SWMBO needs taking to get "her hair done" this afternoon!
Apparently they place she goes to doesn;t take cards so she has to pay with cash - and she never has any so guess who always ends up having to go and get some!

it also seems to cost over £40 - mine costs under £10 - it also takes several hours when mine takes about 10 minutes

So your haircut takes ten minutes and costs ten squids or a quid a minute whereas SWMBO 's costs > forty quids and takes several hours, say two hours = 120 minutes or 33P a minute so is cheaper than yours!

I have to sit still for a while with only a mirror to look at

Mine costs nothing. Partly because my lass owns two hair salons, and partly because im bald.

SiL has little hair so shaves it with a BIC disposable.
My Bro is 81 and has a really good head of hair. My head is covered with hair but it's now quite fine but annoyingly needs cutting every 6ish weeks.

Mrs SD's costs £160 every 8 weeks - cut, colour & fine highlights. Always looks stunning, as it should at that price.

Mine costs £0 which is partial compensation.

0.5mm buzz cut every 3 weeks.

Didn't have heaps of hair before illness and it was light silver grey.

Since chemo' it is thicker and dark. Same with my eyebrows. Bizzarre!

Lots of driving to do today.
We will set off from Bideford to Cardiff at 4pm to collect grand daughter. Have tea there ( a take away to save time) them off to Brighton to our airbnb.
Don't expect to get there till about midnight.
A bit of a lie in tomorrow morning I hope as the graduation is not till 3.30 pm.

Pleasant 5 miles on the Brommie to the farm shop & back. Sunny when I left. Rained most of the ride then the sun's come out now I'm back home.. Hey Ho.. 🤷‍♂️

Have you ever tried their cherry porter? Normally I'm not a fan of fruity ales, but these two do hit the spot.

Not yet, but now I know about its existence I will keep an eye out for it.
