My horrible daughter has just reminded me that it's my birthday on Monday (do you remember when you looked forward to them.)..... they want to take me for lunch.
Pub lunch ?
Chinese ?
Turkish ?
Decisions decisions.

We have our " Second Friday " meet up tomorrow. This time we're heading to Weymouth on the train. Lunch will be at " Ronas " a Turkish restaurant on the High Street.

Are Strava and Garmin at loggerheads again by any chance? My activities from Garmin are no longer syncing to Strava and there seems to be others with the same problem on the Garmin section on Reddit.

All down to Strava originally threatening to sue Garmin about data attribution. DC Rainmaker did an excellent video explaining what happened.

Sue and I used to go to one in an area on the south side of Warrington called Stockton Heath. Very nice but a pain to get to. The north side where i am has mainly pub meals which are all pretty much the same food.

I do like Weymouth it still retains a certain charm. As a kid I can remember the boat train going down the Quay side to the terminal.

As for today, ---‐ the kitchen floor has been washed, and the tax office contacted, MrsP is taking back the 10% of her personal allowance that she gave me some years back, as she will be getting her State pension next month and she would end up pay a small bit of income tax.
Plus, it's started to rain quite heavily.

Got home from the gym and sat down to open the post. Unusually a number of semi-important letters. One was a letter in that brown style envelope used by all government departments.

On opening it looked very official but was clearly from Claims1, a car finance chaser, offering the usual "you might be owed...."

Interesting approach as 99.99% of junk mail received here goes to straight into the recycling without a glance. This one got opened and looked at.......before going into the recycling.
