Evening folks

would've gone for a spin today but because i have some raspberry canes on the way ive been busy preparing the bed for them. The site is next to old greenhouse foundations and is a gravelly/rubbly mess

shifted about 10 wheelbarrows of gravel over to a neighbour and now have a heap of rocks and boulders to dispose off. Anyhow im nearly done and just need to incorporate some bone meal and compost. I guess its murphys law as where the posts for straining wires are to go had ***ding great boulders in the way but got them out phew!
Ive read that raspberries are shallow rooted and as long as theyre well fed should thrive even if soil depth is only around 12-14 inches...hope thats so
