I'm going to be 70 in March ( gulp ) so as I have sent my licence off to be renewed, I decided to have my eyes tested. Monday at specsavers is my appointment.

Coast and countryside ride today in beautiful weather, 30 miles and lovely. Lots of cyclists out, dome appeared to be practising for TdF others out for just the great weather.

The tip costs me £18 just to get rid of 4 bags of ruble and kitchen cabinets. Robbing b*****ds. I already pay the council £194 a month for council tax.
On the other hand, it is still cheaper that hiring a skip. I have one more trip to do which I expect will cost me about £14.
I vacuumed the car when I got back and cut some wood.
Now only Molly to take for a walk, then a shower and put my feet up for the rest of the evening.

Well, my attempt at a snooze was interrupted by various things so I gave up and cut the grass instead. Didnt go too short.

What a lovely day . Got my hair cut and then went to the sailing club to do some boat bimbling . Which consisted of mostly trying to shorten ropes that are continuous, which is a pain if you not good at splicing and I am not 😀
Anyway got the jobs done correctly, fingers crossed .
That’s the good bit of the day , the bad bit is my diverticulitis flared up yesterday so it’s a ‘ clear ‘ diet for me today. Which is fine as it’s seems to solving the problem . But it does mean I am missing a lovely curry tonight 😀

Done a bit of studying. Downloaded some lectures onto my phone to listen to while walking the cousins.
