Sounds interesting (the Macha Picchu, not getting up/down etc!). If you get near The Van Gogh experience, that is worth seeing: includes a nice bit of VR near the end 👍

I feel like VR is the low-carbon future of travel 🤷‍♂️

Meanwhile, a drizzly day out to Richmond for us beckons…after a cuppa first 😎

I've heard it said the VR experience is the same as a real world visit only better because there are no other people!!! We've seen the Van Gogh in Manchester, the National Gallery visual tour in Manchester and David Hockney in London.

The National Gallery was done by a company called Frameless. The company has a permanent exhibition very close to Marble Arch. We loved it. If you're into this sort of experience I strongly recommend a visit. It isn't just what you see but the whole experience of seeing others interact with it - especially young children and their mothers. Great cafe as well!!!!!!!

Good morning from a blustery Dorset. Looking out of the window I can see waves of almost smoke like fine rain blowing in from the west, I blame Cornwall and Devon😉
Still, a good opportunity to test out my new " Harrier " waterproof running jacket. A small company with great gear at fair prices.
Our daughter has asked us to have granddaughter for a sleepover on Sunday and then take her to school and collect her on Monday. She's got an interview at Exeter Uni as a candidate for a PhD. She was on the reserve list but has been called in for an interview which is good, but as a single mum I wonder if the workload of holding down a full time job while raising a family and studying at PhD level might be too stressfull. She was awarded her Masters last year but the jump from masters to Phd is far far more than from degree to masters. Ah well, probably worrying about something that is not going to happen as apparently some candidates have been applying for several years.
Monday is forecast to be dry so I plan to drop granddaughter off at school in Bournemouth then head down to the Prom and walk home along the seafront and through a country park, then up the roman road, all mainly traffic free and about 10 or so miles 😎

Taken bike to the LBS for a good fettling

Gear are not bothering changing when I say - even after a good clean
pedals are wobbling in the wrong way
and the front mudguard is showing its age and not shielding the bike from flying mud as well as it should

Plus I want the ebike system running through the Bosch system to check for updates and potential faults etc

Probably going to cost a bit but we shall see
