I see Neil Sedaka has died. Some of his stuff was quite pleasant to listen to.

We have a Sage microwave with a dedicated button to set the time of day, AND a dedicated button to turn off the " beep beep beep " when finished. It's also spookily good at jacket potatoes ( though we finish them off in the " wizzy wizz " Air Fryer)
I like to zap my potato in the microwave and then finish off in the oven. Does the air fryer give a crispy skin?

I can't get my head round how anything other than an oven can brown or crisp things.

Morning all.
Cool again but not as wet.
A night of crazy dreams. If anyone has a spare couple of hours I can bore you with them.
I quite liked Sedaka without buying anything of his, apart from one song on a compilation album. A very talented guy though.

Good morning. I'm ready to face the world now. Greyish and slightly chilly out but the sky suggests the sun is not far away. Today's major decision has been taken. Which club ride to join??? Two possibilities, the fast ride which will make me work hard. At least ten going on that all of whom are 20 years younger than me. This ride has the first 12 miles on busy A roads and a poor cafe? On the other hand the more sedate route is less than inspiring but very little traffic and a better cafe, though the planned stop is only 21 miles into a 54 mile ride? Years ago I planned the club rides......................I would never have sent a group of 10 - 12 down a major A road between Chorley and Wigan on a Saturday morning! No thought whatsoever.

I'm going for the sedate ride and will suggest reversing the route. I'll get my carbon bike out to see how that feels after months on the ti winter bike. Breakfast next

Yes, it does a sterling job. We have a " Ninja " multi purpose gubbins, air fryer, pressure cooker, oven etc. Basically a large pot with a heater at the bottom and a spiral heating element in the lid with a powerful fan blowing hot air over the stuff placed inside. There's a trivet for baking cakes / bread and other inserts. Mrs Tkk loves it's versatility.

Barnet,
Good morning all.
Another grey, damp start to the day down here, but not to bad temperature wise, 7⁰.
I tracked my friend down, I left a note through his letterbox as I didn't have his phone number. He messaged me yesterday so we are meeting up at lunchtime. Quite a few people were also a bit concerned that he hadn't been about for a while.
Before that I'll cycle up to the market for some fruit and veg. :bicycle:
Sounds like a plan.
