The Retirement Thread

Good morning all fellow retirees.
A very dark cloudy sky outside there at the moment.
As usual Sainsbury's are delivering the weekly goodies between 9 and 10am. I'll be out and about on the bike later, I have a couple of library books to return and I will go via the farm to get some of their eggs which are very good and flavoursome.
MrsP wants to go to the flicks tonight to see a film called Mother's Pride, it has a good cast including Martin Clunes, Miles Jupp and Josie Lawrence. I shall report back tomorrow about the film.

Morning.
Bright and bry but forecast to rain.
After a hectic day of driving 100s of miles for parental stuff and fitting new outside light and all sorts of stuff it's back home to sort things out here.
Drs for me to check out some moles. And not the garden variety.
Later try and get some exercise in. Possibly ride tomorrow as weather better then.

Off to St Helens World of Glass for 10

it is an AgeUK thing - something about DIgital Inclusion and they want to "advertise" the AgeUK Digital Champion thingy

basically "getting the word out" or something

not sure if it is worth it or not but I guess you have to try things

WIll have to pick up a few things for the forthcoming birthday of SWMBO next week!
(I THINK she was dropping hints the other day - but I can never tell if I am supposed to remember something or if it was just a passing comment!)
