Afternoon all . It’s nice day here in Coventry today. Washing has been done and has been put out, shopping also done and put away. Now having a spot of lunch and watching some Winter Olympics before getting the lawn mower out to attack the front lawn, for the first time this year. I’ve done the back lawn a couple of times but have kept putting off doing the front. 😀

Back from ST Helens from the AgeUK thing so spread the word about the what we offer

Basically it was a load of groups that help people with IT and getting online and all that

First problem
Got there 15 minutes early and the whole car park was totally full - it only holds about 40 cars and it was filled up with staff and the people there to man the tables of the groups

Had to drive round for 30 minutes to find somewhere to park - all the shop car parks were 2 hours maximum and had cameras!

It did go well - helped a few people with basic things and told quite a few about what we do and how to contact us

also grabbed a few pans from some other stalls
including a stall from Liverpool City Regions showing the DIgital Help they offer - which includes the organisation I used to work with
turns out they no longer cover the Widnes/Runcorn area

yet another "Liverpool City Region" thing that we don;t get - in spite of being part of it!!

Well, aged 79 and just had a 1st !!!! Took a dog out on the lead. Never done it before. Its the daughters terrier cross and no trouble EXCEPT..... why do dogs want to stop and sniff the grass every 2 metres.
Daughter has asked me several times to take her** out but I draw the line at carrying poo bags  .
**her twin sister is a handful and doesn't like other dogs (so im told).

@PaulSB you shouldn't have posted Dylans wonderful "with god on our side" as its caused (good) ripples. 1. I have been listening to all his early suff and 2. my SiL has put it on FB accompanied by a picture of Trump and his born again cohorts.
I'm still listening to Dylan as I post this.

Afternoon folks :okay: went for a spin today and got a severe workout! the forecast didnt mention fierce winds blowing over the hills...good for fitness i spose and i have been putting in the miles [and hills] lately.
Strewed a bucket of growmore around roses/shrubs today which should help any nitrogen deficientcy defishentcy defisciency hee hee 'lack of'
Ive a compost heap which is slow to break down and according to youtube 'experts' its because bacteria are wanting nitrogen which leaves/seaweed may lack but urine doesnt!.....so's ive been peeing into a coffee jar and chucking it on :okay:

Dogs sniff anywhere that another dog has been.
Poo bags, once it has been used and picked up the offending poo can be used as a hand warmer until such time as a bin is found and the bag deposited into it.😁
