Morning all!
The Volvo got us down in an overnight drive Friday with 3 hours kip in our Mâcon hotel from 6-9am 💪
Day 4 on the slopes today….snow is good, company great: one mate sharing our airbnb this week with us, two others in a hotel nearby. No falls yet, but legs aching already 🫣

Time to put the ludicrously constructed coffee filter machine on

Good morning all.
A mixed night of sleep with some horrible dreams that woke me up sweating. No idea why.......when does a bad dream become a nightmare ??
I find the UK weather amazing, so mixed for a small country eg Mo is expecting an unpleasant day while we are promised a day of sunshine.
I enjoyed a stroll yesterday and will have another one later.

Good morning from a bright Dorset. A write off day yesterday due to a combination of ear ache and/ sore throat / nausea. Apparently there's a " 48 hour " bug doing the rounds locally.
New coffee machine arrived and set up yesterday, very similar to the previous model but this one has the option to heat / froth milk so I might have a go at a Mocha made with oat milk.
Mrs Tkk has Pilates which will take her out of the house, hopefully Paul the postie will deliver a package from Brilliant Bikes, a set of bungees for the rack on her G line brommie. It's to be her birthday present in a couple of weeks, I can't wait to see her delighted expression when she opens it🤔

Good morning all.
The overnight rain has passed and it's now quite a sunny morning with a stiff breeze, so, a dark wash is in the machine as it is a good drying day.
Millie has a Vets appointment at 9.30 as a check up for the problem last week, she is much improved since then.
MrsP is out for the day in the West End of London with a friend, so I will drop here off at the station on the way home.
I have a hearing test this afternoon so that will give me a chance of a bike ride before then.
Enjoy your day everyone :cuppa:

@PaulSB you shouldn't have posted Dylans wonderful "with god on our side" as its caused (good) ripples. 1. I have been listening to all his early suff and 2. my SiL has put it on FB accompanied by a picture of Trump and his born again cohorts.
I'm still listening to Dylan as I post this.

I read an article that referenced the song and I went back to read the lyrics in full. It moved me to tears. I then went and read the lyrics from a few other songs off the Freewheelin' album. I was ten when this was released and probably 17-18 before I heard it. How did a young man have so much to tell us at such a young age? I sometimes think it's taken me 50+ years to hear what he said.

I wonder what Bob thinks today about that song?

Good morning from Ravenglass. It's the most beautiful morning which is surprising after a dreadful, wet drive to get here last night. It poured with rain from the M6 all the way to Ravenglass. An unlit twisting A road, often with locals following who wanted to go faster and in those big 4x4s with LED lights. Geez those need banning. I was constantly scanning for places to pull over and let faster drivers go by.

We're sharing a house with friends, there will be walks, pub meals, cafes, games...................and whisky. The forecast for Friday is snow :cold:

Morning folks :okay: wet n windy here boo  Much interest in the nest boxes from the sparrows but still hope for a wren in the box with smaller entrance hole.
I might have to resort to a walk/jog on the treadmill or hop on the Wattbike for an hour instead but I detest indoor exercise.
I expect theres a special place in hell for cyclists  I appreciate my turbo as it keeps my fitness through the winter but if i ever get to love it i'll be pedalling in a 'secure facility'
