Sunny Dorset at the moment. The Peregrines have returned to the area. Mr peregrine arrived first about 12 hours ahead of Mrs peregrine. He wasted no time in heading off to the harbour and bringing back a big sea bass for lunch. " Birds of Poole Harbour " have some excellent web cams set up monitoring the nests and other roosts 😎

MrsP keeps an eye on the Peregrines nesting on St. Albans Cathedral. There is a webcam set up to watch them . They are back again for the 4th year, even after last years disaster when someone got up onto the ledge and trampled the eggs.😡 Fortunately the pair had a second clutch of three which successfully fledged.

Morning. A nice start to the day here so I took the car through to Comrie and walked from there for a change. It's a lovely little back road that's mostly just used by walkers/runners/cyclists apart from the very occasional vehicle.

I saw a big herd of Red Deer and a group of the wild goats that roam the area. They have cute little kids at the moment. A few Red Kites circling overhead as well, so a very pleasant walk.

All change by afternoon when the wind is to pick up and the showers start.

We did have a bloke who ended up in prison
Became addicted to gambling and stole a lot of money

mind you it was money from his MOTHER'S charity that she had built up from nothing

I knew him quite well - never really friends but I was his deputy Patrol leader in Scout so I spent a lot of time with him
it did turn out that I was always the deputy because the Scout Leader couldn;t trust him to get stuff done so had me as the deputy so I would sort it all out and clean up any mess

Feel quite sorry for him really - he had problems and was never the best at sorting things out
