Morning.
Bit grey and breezy but no rain yet but apparently it's on the way.
Good job I cut grass yesterday. Was a really busy day what with ride, washing, grass, tip run, hoovering and assisting youngest with CV/job application.
Might be a chill day today.

Good morning. Grey, wet/damp, coolish. The birds are making a hell of a racket so they approve.

Today was planned thus. Sunshine = day on allotment. Wet = household chores. You can guess.

All the clocks are correct. Mrs P said "Can you look at that lamp? I changed the bulb but it's still not working." I knew this was a priority. I investigated and fixed the lamp. Took ages.........I switched it on at the mains and made no comment other than it's OK now. Safe option. Mrs P remarked she had already done this. I still made no remark. The even safer option.

General tidying, hoovering, bathrooms etc. I'm determined to get to the gym today. I've also made two resolutions. First cut my coffee intake by 50%. I need two cups in the morning. By playing around I now have the formula for two good cups but using 50% less beans. Second I'm going to cut my screen time. The phone will go on to DND/Flight mode at 6.00pm. Before bed, 9.30ish, I will check nothing urgent has happened then off it goes again. This is all about addressing my sleep issues. I'm attempting to break learned behaviours.

Avid user of DND here albeit for slightly different reasons.

At 6pm mine switches to evening mode until 8am next mode.

Only receives phone calls from 'favourites' - us two, kids and some very close friends. And they all know not to ring unless it is an emergency.

Yes, I have similar settings. Family calls anytime, WhatsApp and Messenger as these are important for cycling. I may need to respond to a meet time etc.

The phone notifies my watch so I don't need it close by.
