Monday; Went shopping to Sainsbury's as they had the 6 bottles of wine offer on, also did a bit of thrifting and got a Raiders bobble hat , a book on plants for shade and Flea's biography/memoir.
Also ordered some trellis and posts for the garden , paid John Lewis credit card bill and more gardening.
Today; Tip run on the bikes and more gardening mostly prepping the area for the trellis.

Good morning all.
Weather is back to normal ie cool and wet.
This week/today is a bit back to front. My cleaner is here today as her children break up from school tomorrow.
Lunch time will be a change. A local pub has a lunch time cabaret with lunch for just £8.00. Its every other Wednesday. Sue and I used to enjoy it so today myself and my neighbour are going to give it a try.
1st I will enjoy this coffee then get the bedding in to wash n dry.
Have a good day all.

I couldn’t sleep last night so just got back up at 2.45am. Had a cuppa and browse and headed out for a walk just after 4am.

Sorry to hear that you had a restless night Mo. If it happens again it would be great if you wore a diaphanous gown over your walking clobber and started a tale about the ghostly lady who haunts the lanes at night looking for where she left her bicycle...

Good morning all from a grey Barnet.
I'll pot my tomatoes up today, I have 3 varieties of seedlings, Moneymaker, Ailsa Craig and red sunset, a cherry variety. I might get a plum variety to try growing as well.

I remember my dad usually grew Moneymaker and Ailsa Craig. You can’t beat tomatoes straight off the vine. I eat them like sweets!
