Started young, and still going.
Location
Barnet,
A busy day so far.
MrsP dropped off at the railway station at 08.30.
Home for breakfast, then out with the dog for an hour.
Parsley, Basil, thyme and oregano seeds sowed along with wallflower seed for next year.
Front garden weeded and then the grass cut again in the back garden.
Now I'm going out on the bike with a pub stop onthe way home.
No cooking tonight, I going to get a takeaway curry. :hungry:
Enjoy the rest of your day everyone 🍺

Good morning. It's another beautiful day in Lancashire. It's also a Red letter day. It's new bike day. The build on my new Cervelo is complete and I will head off to collect her shortly before doing more mundane stuff like cut the grass, Aldi run and a visit to my PT.

Nothing quite as exciting for me….just a new pair of trainers coming this afternoon.

Lidl were doing Carbon trainers for £39 last week Mo, just sayin.....

Yes but Mo wears hers in bed and Lidl ones are just not posh enough for that.

Her logic works brilliantly: she has you to sort them out!!
Time to make her roll up her sleeves when you sort them out 😉

& I hope Drago is okay….no idea what has upset him here, but then I am very much more a part-timer…

Me too . He does bring a lot to a lot of the threads of this forum, both with real info and with a good one liner 😀. Reading between the lines I would guess he has had a run in with the mods again and IF it’s the reason then .I feel his pain as I’ve been on the end of that too.
BUT as a long time forum user I do understand the fact it is quite tightly moderated is the main reason it has survived in a world that’s mostly migrated to other social platforms. I’ve been on other forums were they get taken over by a few people that shout loudest and other voices that have different interesting opinions just get drowned out or are ridiculed and in the end all that is left is the shouty ones shouting at each other as all the people with interesting and clever views don’t bother posting .
In general , if you stay away from the political threads , this is a calm , intelligent, intresting place to visit and when you scroll down the list of threads you always something that’s worth reading and I for one really appreciate and value that.

My Bro arrived at 11.....he had a reflexology treatment from my daughter. I did a stirfry for the 3 of us (very nice it was) then i took my Bro on my regular walk**. I put a lightweight jacket on and, at first, wondered if I'd done the wrong thing. However the chill wind disappeared and it was lovely.
** I did the same(ish,) walk t'other day and it was 1.6 miles.....today it was 1.2 miles. Strange.

I cant think of anything he posted that could upset the Mods (i might be wrong). A short while ago I got my legs slapped my the Mods...... I didnt agree with them and tbh still dont but as you say its keeping a tight ship that prevents a free for all.

As I said in another post could find anything either. But if it was a run in with the mods , there wouldn’t necessarily be anything left to find . 😀

It's good but not 100% accurate. The what3words for my address is a location 2.5 miles from my house. The actual what3words for my property is utterly different. There are some satnavs that do exactly the same thing, enter my address and the user is taken to a location 2-3 miles away on the wrong side of a hill. It's clear to me that somewhere in the world there is mapping software and/or maps that are wrong and this, and probably other errors, are now buried in their systems and the creators of these maps/software are blissfully unaware of the problem. I've met a few delivery drivers who are VERY aware of the issue

I would never entirely trust what3words

That sounds like GPS has a problem with your position so anything that uses GPS come up with a similar wrong location

Walking from Kensall Rise station to our sons place we were passed by a driverless car, a Waymo I believe. There was a guy sat in the front so I expect they're doing testing runs. Looked quite Sci-Fi with the wizzy spinning dome on the roof.
