Good morning, rain forecast soon. Ernie has passed me by this month 😕.
An email from Melitta with some bank holiday offers, £9.99 per Kg for some of their coffee bean varieties so I will probably top up the reserves as we're down to our last 6kg 😁.
Inspired by Mo's athleticism I have just checked the weekly steps leaderboard. I am currently at the top but my friend Heather who's in Inveran for a few weeks is snapping at my heels, must head out for a jog/walk soon before the rain arrives.

It was a cycle. I've still to do my steps. Just having a cuppa and browse then I'll head out.

I did check the times of your first and second posts and thought that's a very respectable pace, never thought about cycling 🤣

Good morning all.a bit cloudy with rain forecast this afternoon.
A frantic day yesterday as my phone was nicked on Thursday evening:angry:, I'm on my old phone for internet only the moment.
Uncle Ernie has come in with £125 this month, zilch for MrsP though.
Up to the market later, the fruit bowl is looking decidedly empty.

Morning folks :okay: was pleased to see an otter by Brora bridge yesterday ^_^ otters here tend to be less 'flamboyant' and when diving they just submerge rather than their usual splashy 'flip', perhaps they know they might be observed and are in 'stealth' mode. Got to be lucky to see an otter...if you went out specifically to see one you probably wouldnt! but then again ive been fishing and an otter wouldnt ****er off! had to stop fishing as didnt want to hook it. Pic below was taken at Meikle ferry by the Dornoch bridge.

17 miles done. It's a start.

It was worth going out early. I only had one car go past around 2 miles in and he gave me a nice wide and slow pass then I never saw another car until I was back in to the town.

It's gone very dull so I think the forecasted rain later is probably correct.

17
Just read your follow up. Cycling.....phew!

Morning all :hello:

Tip run to dump a load of cardboard, then doggie walking.
Only 50 quid on PBs this month.

I met a lady walking along the riverside trail who said she had spotted two otters playing around on the far side of the river but I didn't manage to spot them. Good to know they are there though.

Got my walk done before they start setting up for Parkrun. There was a guy just heading out with a little trailer with the markers to set up.

Just looked and we are not due rain today

but the temperature looks like it is not shorts weather - probably

so might go out for a ride anyway - we shall see

tomorrow is a non starter and Monday we are taking the grand-daughter to a National Trust place where they have a Rembrany on display

not sure she it terribly excited about the painting - she is 13 - but I can take her off when she gets bored and leave her gran to look

On - and - (looking at the thread title) we had a solicitor around yesterday about wills and stuff
very thought-provoking

turns out that my wife has clear ideas about what to do after she snuffs it
I am not bothered - but I am starting to wonder

Good Morning. Grey and drizzly.................must be a bank holiday weekend. So, today has started off well with 8 hours sleep! First I have a bike to clean. My plan for the day is to visit a local garden centre to buy a Gardener's Delight and some pea seed. Then pop into Merlin to pick up some chain wax stripper as tomorrow is a waxing day, carry on to collect my lad for the last match of the season................nothing hanging on this one. Sit back and relax. Later I will be on the allotment, followed by G&T and a BIG catch up in here. That's my sort of day.

Gardener's Delight? Wax stripper? Waxing day? Hmmmmmmm...................................and it's all about gardening and cycling
