Just done a BIG omelette, onion, cheese and ham....plua chips. Yummy.
Now watching Zulu for the 100th time.

That was the first film I ever watched in colour.

Been grey and cool here but no rain so the water buts are getting lower.
Cleaned the greenhouse and planted the Tomatoes, also got the Dahlias planted and did a bit of potting on (Leeks and Tithonias) and consolidated the pots of Cannas.
No fettling today as I managed to get the Helium headset sorted yesterday.

Once you get the new PIN you can change it, usually by inserting the card in the bank ATM. I think it has to be an ATM belonging to the issuing bank but not 100% sure on that. I use an obscure number sequence that has some meaning to me but wouldn't to anyone else.

That used to be the case
but since they all started closing their branchs too many people don;t live within a light year of their bank (I might have rounded up a bit)

so these days you can use a lot more - the bank website tells you where you can go

Right - we are back from visiting the Nation Trust place

Grand Daughter seemed to like it - she asked quite a few good questions and made comments about stuff that required having looked at them properly

My wife also noticed an actor that used to be in Corrie
actually I met him first - the grand daughter asked if I thought there were ghosts in the house

I commented that IF ghosts existed then there probably were some here
he was standing next to me and said he thought there were - he can feel the presence of spirits in places and thought there were som ehere

that was when my wife came over and asked if he was/used to be an actor
he seemed pleased that someone had recognised him
apparently he has gone back to his roots and is doing some

err - dunno - I missed some of what he said - but he seemed happy with what he was doing and happy to be recognised!

I went to get some petrol in an unmanned petrol pump yesterday. I put my bank card in the machine and then couldn't remember my pin number. I tried twice and was declined twice so took my card out before it swallowed it and went to a chip and pin garage.
The problem is that I still can't remember my pin and I didn't write it down anywhere so I will go to my bank tomorrow and ask them to send me another one.
It is a good thing I can use it for up to £100 though.

A thought, can you get your PIN via your online banking APP? Some banks provide this (Chase and TSB do, for example, Nationwide,Santander don't appear to).

Don;t think I can on mine

That is one of the points about having an "it never leaves the house" card

if it ever gets used to withdraw cash or in a shop then you can be certain it has been used fraudulently

I did have one at one point - I shredded the PIN remainder without opening it
not sure you can still do that on all cards
