Talking about eyes.......
Remember I said that I had double vision and the hospital put a prism lens on my glasses
well, Thursday week I noticed that when I took my glasses off the double vision was not too bad
and later on that day it had disappeared, so later on I removed the lens late evening.
In the morning, got up put my glasses on and then remembered no lens and then no double vision.
It was back to normal, I didn't say anythink to anybody just in case it came back again, well it's been
eight days now and eye slight still OK, still don't know what caused it, maybe inflammation of some sort
or just a miracle.

Anyone up and about yet? I didnt want to be but I was awake and cant just lie in bed even though its nice and cozy.....so here I am.
Glad to say im feeling much better than I did yesterday. Sadly the weather is not playing games so I doubt I'll get a walk in. I might resort to the treadmill which tbh doesn't excite me.

Good morning from sunny Dorset. Watched the Attenborough tribute on TV last night and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Nothing planned for today, but tomorrow we are attending a talk about Forgery at the Wimborne Book Festival. Lots of talks by various authors and all tickets are a flat £8 with the exception of Martin Clunes who is doing a chat / on stage interview. That's £15 and all the proceeds will be going to " Julia's House " which is a local children's Hospice.
I'm half tempted to scan our tickets and print suitably altered copies to get into the spirit of the topic of Forgery 😁
Anyway time for a second coffee, have a peaceful day everyone ☀️🏖️

Barnet,
Good morning all.
A sunny day in prospect here, I may well have to get the watering can out as my vegetable patch s looking a bit parched.
My left knee is sore , I think I over extended it getting off the bus yesterday evening.
Tonight we are back at the St.Albans arena to see Jools Holland and his rhythm and blues orchestra, it should be a good night.

Morning folks :okay: think i'll ride up my monster hill this morning as i havent been up it in a while, its called Knockarthur a strung out crofty type road. I wonder where the name 'knockarthur' came from/derived, can imagine in the past people driving cattle or sheep might need something Arthur provided and so somebody had to go and get him and knock on his door. Could be totally wrong of course!

My Willy Walk is up a local hill called The Knock.

Just back from walking round the riverside trail and had some scrambled eggs for breakfast. Big mug of Yorkshire decaf tea now.

Here you go. Copy and paste.
