Barnet,
Good morning all, there is a touch of frost on the car, and the heating has kicked in indoors.
A few bits and bobs at the local shops to get and then off to the pre diabetic group at lunchtime, it gives me the chance to get out on the bike gir a 10 mile round trip all though rain is forecast later so I might have to go on the bus instead.
Enjoy your day everyone :cuppa:

Good morning from a sunny chilly Dorset. Noticed a touch of frost on the roof of the extension and the heating has come on, albeit gently in the background. Mrs Tkk was pondering on taking half of the duvet off when she changes the bedding today ( we have a twin low tog/ medium tog duvet that you can combine), but has decided to leave as is for now.
Off to Wimborne this afternoon, authors talk on exotic wildlife in the UK ( wallabies and other flora / fauna )

Morning folks :okay: bought some tomato plants tuther day...big mistake, think theyre 'blued' which is when theyve gotten too cold and wont recover ah well win some lose some.
Another north westerly today so will do my monster hill again, when i went up it a few days ago a farmer stopped in his tractor..not to let me by but just to see if i could do it! Ive never seen another cyclist on this hill ever, i seem to be the only masochistic/demented nutter to take it on....think im getting a rep locally as either as a super fit oldie...or the village idiot!

Good morning all. At 5.30 it was wet and cold, enough to make a young man think of bed. Instead I wrapped myself in a fleecy blanket and did the crossword! I'm playing chicken at the moment, this game is being played out in two other houses as well. It's wet, it's cold but the sky is clearing, the forecast is improving, we're due to meet at 9.30 for a short hilly, very hilly, ride.........................so who is going to blink first. Much as staying indoors appeals to me, it won't be me.........................though I might not take a lot of persuading!

I was given to very smart cloches last summer and haven't used them yet. I'll pop up to the allotment shortly and put those together. I have seed to sow and lettuce to plant out. Stuff needs to get in the ground but it really isn't warm enough yet. I keep think we may get a frost................first though I must pack my mini pork pie, homemade flapjack, make drinks and get the bike out.
