Where are you Binky ?
Its a bit overcast here in Warrington and nowhere near as warm as promised. It feels/looks like it going to get hot quite soon though.

Morning

I'm off later on for a meet up with a lad i was at school with

He is very into busses and trains - alwasy has been - especially old ones
his FaceBook over since he retired (as a lecturer in integrated transport - square peg ina square hole if there ever was one!) has been pictures of buses from all over Europe - and I mean ALL over!!

Used to meet up every few months for many years but we dropped off and I have not seen him face-to-face for many years

He has suggested a cafe in Halewoord that he found when his car was being serviced
as he still lives on the WIrral I presume it is a specialist place
so it will be interesting to find out what kind of car it is!!

Weird thing here

Yesterday I nipped out to ASDA and just as I was passing the end of teh park 2 Police cars puled up

There was already an unmarked on parked opposite with all his Blue lights flashing

and another was just coming as I turned right just past them

When I was on my way home not long after the Air Ambulance had just landed

Not that long after we were going down the motorway and possible the same unmarked car plus 3 Police cars and an ambulance passed us on the motorway - clearly in a hurry

all of which sounds like something major

but not a peep in the local papers

given the drivel they normally seem to have to depend on I would have though something like that in the centre of town would have been a God-send to them
but nothing!!

bit strange

Good morning from a warm, sunny Lancashire. I'm already looking forward to tomorrow's ride. At the risk of upsetting @SpokeyDokey while hanging out the washing I was contemplating that the some wives of some of our assembled company should not mock or criticise their husbands' chosen pegging methods. Instead they should consider themselves very fortunate to be married to men who not only hang out the washing but probably know where the washing machine lives and quite possibly how to use it. Stay strong chaps, we must stick together!

A little late today. OK, not unusual but I have an excuse. I've spent some considerable time solving the bin liner problem. The food waste caddy needed a new liner. I rummaged in the cupboard under the sink. Now we have bins that need liners in the shower room, bathroom, kitchen pedal bin, outdoor food waste caddy, indoor food waste caddy and utility room. Each bin is a different size. Yes, we have five six different sizes of bin liner......................it's like Russian roulette with a fully loaded revolver. Oh, yes and of course we have nappy bags for the small ones!!!!

Anyway loads of chores today including parcelling up cycling stuff I need to return and ordering a load more to try out.

Our next door neighbours have gone out. Their seventeen year old son is at home..........................I don't share his musical tastes but I'm probably a better singer.

There's a half decent trumpeter locally, probably lives in one of the big houses that border Delph woods. It's quite evocative wandering through the woods with the sound of a trumpet in the distance.
