Phew! It's a scorcher!
Doggie walking in the woods up on Staple Plain then lunch at the Railway Inn.
Not much else planned today.

And a glorious one it is. The much promised fine weather has arrived.
Shorts are already on. Tip run followed by some hedge cutting etc in garden. Maybe a ride later.
Coffee now though.

Well I said my plans often fail.......I suddenly went tired, went back to bed and slept solid for over 2 hours.
My new plan is coffee, a bit of breckie and then my delayed walk.

Good morning all.
A warm day is forecast, 30⁰c down here and a cloudless sky.
I'll be out with Millie for a walk shortly before it gets too hot, as an elderly dog she does suffer in the heat. We might have to report to spraying her with cool water this afternoon.
As @Dave7 says a couple of important games this afternoon, Spurs need just a point to stay up. But, if West Ham win and Spurs lose they go down. I'll be watching with trepidation.
First cup of tea of the being drunk, I might need something stronger later on.🤔

My younger brother hasn't spoken to me since 2012 when we (Chelsea) won the CL and by doing so deprived Spurs of a CL place the following season. (Rules were different back then.)

I phoned him about 10pm and bantered a bit about what happened and then he said "eff off bruv" put the phone down and that was that. Never responded to phone calls, birthday cards, etc, since.

Good luck re staying up today. Would be ludicrous to see Spurs in the Championship!

Ive read that 3 times now. Are you saying you were on speaking terms before but actually not spoken since ?

Another hot one today so plenty of netting up to protect the plants from the heat a bit otherwise probably a chill in the garden day.
