Good morning all. A little cooler this morning and a bit of a breeze.
Market day today,I'll cycle up there, we need some fresh fruit and veg.

A strange phenomenon late last night, when I had a cold shower before going to bed, the radiators in the upstairs bedrooms and the towel rail in the bathroom were slughtly warm as if the CH had come on. The CH and the hot water were turned off so couldn't have fired up. I am presuming that because of the heat the water in the system had started to circulate by capillary action
Anyway, enjoy your day everyone :cuppa:

What????? Ketchup with cheese on toast? Sacrilege.........at the very least. This delicacy should be unadulterated or, occasionally adorned with chutney, preferably homemade, or mayonnaise, Hellmans, only Hellmans.

I will admit if I'm feeling indecisive I will sometimes have one slice straight and the other accompanied with a relish of some sort.

Even more so considering that the cheese was a " Barbers Crunch " extra mature cheddar ( mature cheddar is the one true cheese, all else ( except halloumi) is a pale imitation. ) The annoying thing is that I saw the almost depleted bottle sitting in the fridge door and thought I would use it up to make the fridge a little less cluttered.

Morning all :hello:

Off to walk the pup around Horner woods this morning, then dropping in to Watchet street market before lunch at the Star.
I cut a load of metal yesterday to make 8 more clutch tools for Bantams - think I'll leave the welding for a cooler day.
Was told, last night, that a former work colleague had died from aggressive cancer. He was only 68.

Morning.
Another absolute belter on the way, boiling already.
So, what better than a hilly 40 odd miles. Mate I'm going with suggested one of my other routes which is 65 miles but I think that might get a tad toasty and once committed at half way point no quick route back. Todays ride offers contingency to bail early if required.

The seemingly endless search for a new pack for the Cervelo is over. Why is it a new bike often requires new everything else.........or is it just me?????🤔🤔

I do enjoy a well packed saddlebag. Mrs P came downstairs while I was doing this, she should have been sleeping.........she gave me one of those withering, pitying looks that wives are so good at...........you all understand, don't you??? A well organised saddlebag is a thing of great beauty requiring years of practice to hone one's skills..........or a serious case of OCD???
