Indeed, few series maintain initial excellence. One rare exception is Slow Horses and as it happens series 6 due sometime this year. That is down to writing of course but mainly the stellar cast of Gary Oldman, Kristen Scott-Thomas etc.

My wife loves Virgin river and she can't wait for the next season to start. I watched the first serie, enjoyed it but now bored with it.

Ride ridden. Really enjoyed that, rained though as soon as left house but then brightened up to a lovely morning. Decent 31 miles with 2300ft climbing.

Oooh, haven’t done a night hike in years!
Well done!
Got pals joining us this weekend….we are hoping to try to walk round the IOW next week (about 70 miles…maybe 4-5 days), BUT the forecast is pretty awful….no point it becoming a horribly wet trudge, so we will see how we get on 🤷‍♂️

Back home & snoozed now.
Yes, I love night hikes and watching the sun rise to the dawn chorus ..
With it getting light around 04:15 at the moment, I barely needed lights but took them just in case..

A wander up to the shops via Pocket Park and a detour round a tree that had split and fallen across the path.

Another full day.

Got out for a 70km ride to Cambridge and back that included popping in to the Apple store to pick up an order (pack of short usb cables) and in to the old workplace for a chat and to pick up some nutrition bars and gels plus some folding pedals for the Tern.

Got back and had lunch and then popped to the pub up the road for a couple of pints of Nelson's Revenge;
