I've got 4 identical butts lined up in a row, all interconnected. Got room for one more.
Not in the least surprised 😂

Well, an astonishing amount of Airbnb available in Weymouth. I've sent Mrs P a Wish List for her perusal............

Oats. Porridge. I keep meaning to mention this for the porridge lovers in here. For years I've sworn by Kavannagh's organic oats from Aldi. They are very good. A few months ago our three local Aldis were out of stock for weeks. In desperation I searched out Aldi's supplier and came up with these people https://www.whitesoats.co.uk/ and discovered they sell under their own name in some UK stores. I get mine in Booths. The quality is top notch, the Aldi product is good but the White's own brand is superb, all large chunky oats, no dust. They make great porridge and wonderful flapjack. I get this one

I've just ordered two knock off products from Temu. I already have the branded ones from UK suppliers. I'm going to make a contrast and confirm if my Temu views are justified.

I must go, I have an overflowing butt to deal with.........................................

We usually get this from Sainsbury's and it's rather good;

Managed to dodge most of the rain when we were out and picked up a nice Scottish wool jumper (labelled O&C Butcher from Aldborough) plus on of our favourite reds from Waitrose and two really nice cheeses from our High St cheese shop;

The Killeen is an Irish Goats milk Gouda and the Alsop & Walker Cheesemakers is a cow's milk cheese with a hint of caramel in the taste; got a taste of both in the shop so looking forward to scoffing /savouring these.

As it's still raining on and off have fettled the Stayer OG and checked the sealant in both and topped up ;rear valve was clogged so had to let the air out by removing the core.

Only partially retired 😟
Quite a “racket” outside all afternoon 😬
Delighted with it though
Kid down the road has his pals round, bikes, a scooter and a pogo stick (not seen one of them for decades) kids having fun, like the old days (50 years ago) 🤣
Dog is still spying on them as it’s such a novelty 😃

Well - as teh dishwasher is broken I have to wash all the dishes the old fashioned way

so we went out last night

anyway - it was lovely - as always - but very loud

which brought up the subject of hearing - especially as I had had an appointment with an audiologist earler

looks like I will be getting some hearing aids

quite fancy ones which can be adjusted by an App
I did ask but apparently there is no function to switch your wife off so you can't hear her

technology has a long way to go if you ask me!!!

Does sort of feel that I am starting to accumulate the trappings of "being old" suddenly!!!

The apps usually allow when to choose which direction the aids focus on. This can be a useful feature.........DAMHIK
