A rare moment has occurred.. I've been allowed pegs!!
Only because it's all rectangular flat things like towels, tea-towels and a bath mat..
NB: all pegs were matched and as near to the colour of the article being pegged.. 👍

Good morning from a sunny Dorset. The neighbourhood cat was scratching at the patio door when I went downstairs to make the coffee, I ignored him and he headed off to the next feeding station on his rounds. Speaking of feeding stations we put up a new one yesterday, complete with a couple of new feeders and filled them with sections from a square suet block. The birds have gone crazy for it with over 20 starlings vying for access.
In other news a friend rang me yesterday to let me know that he's given up running. He had a bad fall recently and has had a couple of operations to put his shoulder back in place and now has a metal plate securing it. We've been running together for more than 45 years, a group of four originally who have been mutually supportive as we each faced the various challenges that life throws up along the way. I have suggested we now meet up for a walk instead of a run.
Bin day today, blue bin + food waste bin, then Mrs Tkk's walking group, at least the rain has stopped for that.

Here comes the rain. Id like to cut my grass - out there earlier and a Japanese voice said "is the war over yet?" - but it looks like it'll be at least Friday before the weather lets me, thats if Betty Mountain doesnt change her mind before then.

Morning
Kinda busy yesterday as we had a new telly being delivered
so - naturally - the lounge needed to be cleaned and re-arranged
anyway - as ornaments were being re-arranged I took the opportunity to fix a mirror that was broken when we got it
One fo those things that was too much trouble to return
anyway - it just needed 2 bits glueing together - was never going to be perfect but would work
so I wentin the garden and wit it and found some superglue in the shed
opened the glue and started putting it on the break
and the whole top came off
covering 4 of my fingers in glue!!!!
I managed to get some on the break but it was a race to get it stuck without sticking my fingers to anything
a few close calls - 2 fingers touched and just get them unstuck
them a finger stuck to the mirror frame - again close but OK
once it all dried I started getting rid of it - managed to peel a couple of sheets off after an hour or so
and a lot has come off over night
ANyway - telly arrived on schedule and was installed as per instruction from SWMBO
to be fair the stand was delivered ina weird manner
and the manual was "not clear" on what the different bits were
so you did need the instructions
plus a fair bit of figuring out what in the name of all the Gods they actually mean!!
but it got sorted eventually
