We saw them some years ago, they were excellent.

I used to do a brilliant proclaimers on the karaoke when I was pished. Alas, Im now teetotal so this legendary turn is consigned to history.

Just got back from my extended walk to Wimborne. Started off in bright sunshine but just outside Wimborne I got caught up in a hailstorm 😮. Sheltered under a tree until it passed. Now tucking into a pasta salad and watching the flock of starlings demolish the suet blocks.

Good afternoon. Sunshine and showers. We decided against riding and it proved a good decision as a cold wind has got up. I've used the day to do small stuff that needed doing and attend a u3a Zoom meeting on contingency and succession planning. It was good. Off to town shortly to run some small errands and a gym session.

The major worry for today is a fledgling jackdaw. Our neighbours have jackdaws nesting and they are ready for the off. One is stuck on our garden steps and clearly doesn't know what to do. I'm loathe to pick him/her up. I've WhatsApped our neighbours to warn them of this. I've asked they check before letting George and Bridget out when they get home. G&B are two beautiful cats, a British Blue and an American Rag Doll, but George in particular will make toast of the little jackdaw. George sees himself as a bit of a hunter. He's actually pretty crap at it but even he won't miss this little chap.

Ride ridden this morning, 33miles 2200ft with a couple of steep climbs in there which might be useful training as I'm off to the Cotwolds this weekend and last time I rode there I tackled a couple of brutal hills.
Tip trip in a bit with some garden waste then possibly a beer or two.

Thats me on the left. However, Pete is a lot taller than me but to spare my embarrassment he very kindly agreed to stand in a hol3 for that picture. Classy guy.

I had a good catch up with the Codgers this morning at our breakfast meet. I cycled over there without getting caught in any showers. Coming home was a different story. I had to take shelter as the heavens opened with lightning, thunder and marble sized hailstones coming down. After about 30 minutes I carried on but in heavy rain, i also took the wrong bike out, no mudguards. A hot shower was needed when I got home.

Was sunny and bright when we headed out, now clouding up rapidly. I hope it holds as some hairy arsed plaid shirt wearing yorkie munching trucker is supposed to be popping round.

Neck still hurts. You might recall I went over heavily on the ice last winter and wrenched my back and neck, too a week or so to recover. Think I must have slept a bit awkwardly onnit the other night and aggravated the neck again. Its not killer, just enough to warrant a Class 3 level grumble and moan.

Two years ago, almost to the day, I had my RTC. My shoulder sustained a lot of soft tissue damage.

If I sleep in an awkward position or spend the whole night laid on the shoulder it will be very uncomfortable in the morning. In every other respect it's fully healed.

I think that's what's happened to me, slept awkwardly and aggravated it. Hopefully a day or two and itll resolve itself.
