Off to strange lands where people wake up early and go for walks before decent people are awake

will be on a boat mostly out of phone signal range for the next 2 weeks
hopefully we will get as far as St Kilda - but only if the weatheris OK as the boat is quite tiny

I'm up again, very cloudy and only 19c

I am also up again. Went back at (i think) 6ish and got another 3 hours in.
Had a shower and feel alive, sort of.

Personally I think it's an acceptable saying.

It certainly is. A true fan shares an emotional bond with their team. Often forged over many decades and commonly across familial generations. Fans are considered by themselves, as well as the club itself, to be a part of the club both off and on-pitch - in the latter case acting as a '12th man'.

Ergo, "we won",etc, is perfectly valid.

My daughter is a "sort of**" veggie and will eat free range eggs.
**by sort of, its for 'ethical' reasons so she will eat chicken if she knows where its raised. Same with fish ie she won't eat farm raised salmon.
Its beyond me.......put it on my plate and I will eat it.

Similar to some of the perverse logic trotted out by the siblings of friends of ours.

Apparently flying is bad but it's perfectly ok to fly two long-haul holidays and several short-break jaunts each year.

Cars are bad too, unless you are talking about their fancy sports car.

And consumerism is not only bad but rampant, ignoring the fact that their home is a shrine to Apple.

Tbh I am blunt with them and won't leave their rollocks unchallenged.

Grumpy day!

My SiL believes the same as my daughter. However when she did a lovely meal last Christmas he indulged in a couple of slices of roast beef
