Cooooeeee. Well it's stupid o'clock and I am first past the post today. We are probably going shopping today because A. Monday us going to be hot hot hot and B. Part of the road we use will be closed for 5 days for road resurfacing.

A warm and sunny day in prospect.
We are meeting a couple of friends at lunchtime at the café at the Lea Valley white water centre. It is situated in the middle so that you can watch the canoeists and kayakers take on the rapids and waves on the 2012 Olympics course.

Morning. I wasn’t in a hurry to get up as I could hear the rain. It’s to be on most of the day and not expected to clear until nearer 5pm.

I might just have a PJ day as I have a bit of a headache and this humidity isn’t helping.

Let's not forget that It's just over 2 weeks until the 220th anniversary of the sailing of the Irish Rover from Cork, heading to New York. Sadly lost with all hands after foundering. Overloading with cargo, plus disease is believed to be a contributory factor.

Just to clarify, I was tongue in cheek paraphrasing the lyrics of the " Irish Rover ". Fortunately no lives were actually lost...
