Can't sleep.

My quartley biopsy 2 months ago showed a positive spike. A false positive was postulated and I was advised not to worry. A second biopsy was carried out and I have spent the last month waiting for the result (worrying of course).

Late yesterday I got the result and the first biopsy was indeed a false positive. The latest result shows me still in a very deep state of remission.

The darkness of the last month has lifted and I feel very relaxed & energised...

... but now I can't sleep! A piddling problem in the grand scheme of things.

Good news indeed.
I have probably bored you with this before but I had 4 operation for bladder cancer. 1st one lasted over 8 hours as it was bigger/deeper than they thought.
The worry of it returning never really goes away but you sort of learn to hide it at the back of your mind.

Morning. I too was awake at 4.30 but decided it was too early to get up so just lay and rested for a while.

It’s very overcast and gloomy, but humid at the moment.

I am awake. After 4 days of heat and no sleep I finally got a decent night's sleep. I'm looking forward to lower temps

I have risen!

helping with the local fete set up today. Orders from Mrs D not to be out in the sun all day like last year, as the next day I had a stroke and she is keen not to repeat that.

Up and at em today, there are a dozen of us all from the same club (widowed) hiring a narrow boat for the day and sailing off to a pub, I know for sure we will have a good laugh as we always do, possible a few tears as well.

Good morning, a much cooler day so far. Collected granddaughter from school yesterday, bus broke down on the way home but a replacement arrived toute suit and we were soon on out way. Pizza for tea and then watched the excellent " Sheep Detectives " . Off to Wimborne later for a matinee performance of " Shrek, the musical " at the wonderful Art Deco Tivoli Theatre.

Dogs walked. Warm, but not as oppressive as yesterday so the dogs had a bit more of a canter.

Its Mini D's 15th birthday and shes opened her present, a nice Cannon EOS 2000D SLR camera. Its a decent quality starter SLR, and now she has that birthdays and Christmas's get easier as we can buy her accessories to go with it.

Bit cooler today. Got a bit of welding to do first thing, then a trip to the PO to drop off a parcel.

Good morning all. It's a few degrees cooler and it rained overnight.
Our son is asleep in his old room, he finished a night shift and is taking part in a squash tournament at a local club so he came here and has crashed for a few hours.
