Gathering a few nibbles together to eat in the interval. Found a bar of " Tony Chocoloney " all varieties in the fridge, much to the delight of granddaughter ( and me ) 😀

It's lovely chocolate but it's hard to break due to the weird shapes on it. I have frequently scoffed a whole bar in ten minutes if I've been on a binge.

Good news indeed.
I have probably bored you with this before but I had 4 operation for bladder cancer. 1st one lasted over 8 hours as it was bigger/deeper than they thought.
The worry of it returning never really goes away but you sort of learn to hide it at the back of your mind.
Stay well my friend.

Yes, it is hard work living with a 'major' disease.

Most of the time it sits in a mental box that is sealed tight. It gets opened a little bit every quarter when I have my routine biopsy and I can keep the result waiting worry in check.

The problem this time was that I was waiting for a recheck on a potential red flag result and the worrying went through the roof.

Our life came to a miserable standstill for a whole month. Wasn't myself at all and poor Mrs SD struggled too - I think these situations can be worse for the partners than the patients.

Finally went back to bed at 6am and got 4 hours sleep in.
