The Retirement Thread

Nice bit of rain last night and this morning but pretty hot again now.

Was up at 5:00 and got a coffee and then thought I'd hop on the turbo for a bit ;ended up a sweaty mess after doing 45 minutes of this;

Shower,breakfast and a recovery shake later went in to town for thrifting and shopping; nothing in the chazzers so then down to Sainsbury's and lot's of the fridges and freezers were down so it was then over to Aldi over the road.

Then called in to the cheese shop to get a Baron Bigod cheese only to find that she had had a problem and "all" her cheeses were bad so she couldn't sell any*, had to detour back to Waitrose to get cheese there (no Baron though) and a hot walk home so a 7km shopping trip.

Will prep the All Road up this afternoon ready for tomorrows ride but nothing much else will get done today again ;will have a nice cold Austrian white tonight with snacks, cheese and broad bean dip.

*She was visibly upset about it so we'll get some cheese there next week to help support her business.

It's gone up to 32c again, I was going to play catch-up with my sleep
but it's too warm, maybe I'll try later.

I went back earlier and just waking up

The grass has been cut, although the temperature is 10⁰s lower than yesterday I am still sweating buckets.
