Back from 4¾ miles with the pooches.. First walk for them since Thursday now it's cooled off a tad.

A bit cloudy and breezy here, only 21⁰ at the moment.
MrsP is going out with the ladies who lunch for most of the morning/afternoon, so I will be out on the bike for a while and I might stop at the Mitre for some end of ride refreshment on the way home.

Finally had a dip in the sea yesterday at Ventnor - absolutely lovely!

For those who don’t follow Clarkson’s Farm, he had a bird episode with a crazy lady, but mentioned the Merlin App: here’s what it heard outside our loo at silly o’clock!

A brilliant app, I strongly recommend it 💪

Back to normal summer weather, nice and sunny but a sensible temperature. By end of last week I'd had enough of the heat and humidity and I like the sun!
Tip trip then more hedge cutting etc is the plan. Maybe a spin later.

I have bags of garden waste to take up the road to the Goat Farm - he is getting pigglies next month and is happy for all non-sharp (no yew) waste to be dumped there - provides bugs and free food for them, win-win 💪
Normally has them in by now, but a shortage of boars mean they are delayed this year, apparently 😜

I use 'merlin'more or less on a daily basis, it us very good, but sometimes it does throw in an oddity as it comes up with a most likely bird song now and then.

It's great to identify birdsong whilst out walking.

That would be ideal for me as such a big garden and this time of year its like painting the Forth Bridge in as soon as finished cutting etc it's starting to start again.
