Good morning ( just ). Stopped up to watch the game, quite the thriller. A bit weary as I have had just a few hours slepp. Mrs Tkk headed out on her brommie but returned after a short while because of the heat. She's off to a funeral later this afternoon, the husband of a work colleague.
I'm going to have a lazy afternoon.

Bit of a lie in this morning then coffee and cereal for brekkie.

We decided to nip out to Waitrose this morning and get a few things and another chazzer crawl; got two more books to add to the pile ;



Also popped in to boots for my prescription and they asked if I wanted a blood pressure test so obv said yes and all normal.

Not much else planned for today as it's a bit warm out although the wind has picked up a bit.

Did get the details for the Audax on Saturday so will print off the cue sheets and save the gpx file to transfer to the Garmin.

Oh and gws Dave.

One of the teachers at the last school I worked at always said "Good Luck" is something went past with sirens going

It gave an good concept of the emergency services to the kids
and generated a few conversations that taught them things that are more important than some things on the National Curriculum

Its a chuffing disgrace how they treat people. Vets aren't allowed to treat dogs in public view, and yet...

Good morning. Bright and breezy with clear skies. Opthalmology appointment this morning for my six-monthly glaucoma check.....nothing has changed in 10+ years. So fingers crossed 🤞 My plan is to go to the gym afterwards and then go home for an hour pottering on the allotment. I'm in a small GYO allotment group. We visit each other's plots and natter. Old people stuff.

Speaking of old, today marks my completion of 72 years on the planet. We had all the family home yesterday. My sons gave me a couple of complicated looking coffee related contraptions..........I'll play with those when I've had a coffee or two.

Unintentionally watched 45 minutes or so of the England game. I had a very tough ride on Saturday, grandchildren yesterday and was in bed and asleep by 9.30. Inevitably woke at 3.00am so had a brew and half watched the second half. Back to bed and slept till 7.30. Result.
