Good morning all.
Another hot day in prospect.
I have a dental hygienist appointment at 9.30, then I will cycle up to the market for some fresh fruit and veg.
The window cleaner is also coming at sometime today.

Morning. We have a pleasant 14 degrees at the moment with a high of 22 later. Not too unbearable.

I nipped out just before 5 for an hour’s bimble while it was nice and quiet. Quick browse and cuppa then I’ll head back out for a little wander round the riverside trail loop.

Good morning all.
A pleasant 17 at the moment, set to reach 28 later. Hard to believe that as a young man I revelled in it but cant stand it now.
I'm feeling a bit more alive today, those vitamin drips have done well.
A true funny story from my incarceration.
Om my last day, lunch was a very nice soup followed by tuna mayo sandwich.
I opened the sandwich to look at the contents and thought "not much mayo on there"..... I then spied a seperate pot of mayo. Bit unusual but I open it and spread some over the tuna.
Bit into it a thought "that's a funny taste". I looked at the pot only to find it was dairy ice cream !!!.
I couldn't bin it so I chomped it, it was odd but actually quite nice.

Good morning. It's going to be a hot one. I should have slept better but woke up bathed in sweat about 4.00am. Geez it's got warm overnight. So, I'm fiddling around with all sorts of chores, lots of silly little bits, before heading out for a ride with one of my buddies. We'll head out to the Ribble Valley and amble our way back towards Preston and then home again. I've got a u3a meeting at 4.30 and then judging by Mrs P's remarks last night I'll be making tea!

A good day. Dogs walked, listened to Boston's first album on the way round the field. Tummy feels100%, as does my back. Sun is shining, now sat in the garden with a coffee. Popping out later to visit a friend in MK and drop some parcels off at the post office for Mrs D.

Feeling good, not much to do, and that at my own pace.

Good morning from a sunny Dorset. Our Tuesday walking group turned into a bit of a saga yesterday. Delph woods is popular with dog walkers and several dog walking businesses tend to use it. One person was walking 8 dogs all off leads, with one particular dog charging about. This dog jumped up at one of the ladies who was walking with Mrs Tkk causing her to fall. She felt dizzy and sick, fortunately both Mrs tkk and another lady are retired nurses so they were able to look after her. Another lady who was passing offered to take her to A+E, Mrs Tkk accompanied her and ended up spending the afternoon at the hospital, getting home just in time for the TdF highlights.
Fractured wrist diagnosed, plaster cast fitted. The dog walker of course had f@ck&d off, one 80+ year-old lady left with her confidence shattered and the worst for wear. The area is popular with lots of people, supervised groups of toddlers from the local nursery like to explore the shallow streams and woodlands. Not sure what the answer is, the number of dog walking " businesses " using the woods has increased significantly over the months to the extent that they're a constant presence.
Anyway rant over, have a peaceful day everyone ☀️☕️😎

So much better, thanks for asking.
Not ashamed to say that while in hospital all the kind messages made me quite emotional.
I am walking much better. My balance is still not back to normal but I can see it getting there.
