So arrived at daughters yesterday to do a bit of dog sitting, new there was a reason I don't come south very often, bloody heat, far to hot, waited till after 8pm to take the dog for a walk still to bloody hot. Oh well it's only 4 days and the forecasters are predicting a cooler weekend before I head back north.

Q day for me. Back still acting up. The dogs dont really pull - Bruce is really mild mannered and young Geddy follows his example - but the slight pull they do manage is enough to set it off. I've ordered a belt to clip their leads to, do everything I can to protect my back. My concern is that I've dome some proper damage to a disc or suchlike, so if no improvement soon it'll be the docs for me.

We are all different but.......
I permanently damaged my back in a lifting accident when I was just 19 .....its actually taken a small piece of the 4th disc.
Spent much time in hospital and a small fortune on chiropractors, various hocus pocus medicine men but the one that helped me was a sports physio guy. I am indebted to him.
Doctors are OK but seriously, what can they possibly know about how backs/spines work.
Hope you get it sorted, it can really affect your life.
