Going to be scortchio again today - shopping done by 8:30 now enjoying coffee and pain au chocolate while catching an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. I only watch old stuff on TV so I use one of my old black and white TVs - saves £120 a year on the licence fee which is a bonus!

For the tech nerds - it's a mid 70s Murphy V1400 which was actually made in Japan by NEC and badged Murphy, a brand owned by the Rank Organisation, I use a Panasonic Freeview adaptor which feeds an RF modulator as the TV is RF only - no SCART.

The whole setup sips electricity consuming just 25W - a fraction of a modern TV -

Back from doctor. Mrs G has to go for a blood rest and I am declared fit with the heart of a teenager. My PSA has gone down and my cholesterol level is low for bad cholesterol and good for the good one. Statins is working well for that.
It proves that cycling is beneficial for your health then. Good to know.

Mind you, at least 50% of heart attacks occur in people with normal or low cholesterol.

I hope i don't get a ban for this heretical statement, but for me it is too hot and dangerous to cycle.Yesterday's plan was scuppered for a couple of reasons, one pal in Bridlington i needed some summer tights and my other mate had something to do,but had we all been free i would not have gone out. What is safe for you weather wise.
