Good morning all.
Another warm and sunny day in prospect.
We will visit a different park today, Grovelands in Southgate. It has a large lake where I used to fish as a youngster, woodland and a cafe do we can get a cup of tea and a cake. The dog foes enjoy going somewhere different for a change.

Dogs walked. Reclining with a coffee.

Going visiting later, a chance for the van to stretch its legs.

Will be spending most of today keeping an eye on the pup after her operation yesterday. She seems remarkably laid back at the moment. Just got to be careful that she doesn't exhert herself and pull the stitches out.

Grey again here and a pleasant temperature too.

Had breakfast, coffee and done the washing up, will get out on the roadie for a change in a while.

Maybe some gardening later.

Late on duty today.
Been out for my walk......got a record 4.2 miles in which I am happy with. My legs were fine but my back started playing up at the 2 mile mark. I had to keep stopping to do bends and stretches.

My back often starts to ache on longer walks too. The joys of getting old eh?

Morning.
Up early but been busy. Cool and overcast and windy. Had a break-in yesterday so I've been sorting that. Not the house though the garden and it was furry creature(s). I suspect badgers. Burrowed under fence in several places and dug holes in hedgebank. Great to live in a rural area but it does have downsides.

I have some strong pain killers for when my back is bad but I've not needed them for ages. I am thinking of popping one before I start walking so it kicks in when needed.

A pleasant 17° here. It was a perfect 13° when I started my walk.

Dirk will tell you its sacrilege but I am on fish and chips for lunch as its our fortnightly cabaret lunch.

Well that's the top shelf cleared, cleaned and the wall has been painted it should only take about an hour to dry then I can put everything back ( minus the rubbish). Then I can clear the next shelf down abd repeat. I've done part of the ceiling above the top shelf as well. A womens work is never done

Fish for us today as well. Mr WD will be doing it.
