Had my two a bit later in life so my eldest is 23 and youngest 21
However our next door neighbours are our age, thry have three grandchildren and their son has just turned 40

My son is 53 and my daughter is 51. I have a 30 year old grandson. My youngest grandsons (the bin and his twin) are 24.

Morning, I feel a bit better today, still have a cold and a snotty 🤧 nose.Been shopping spent £80 on three bags of food and that was without any meat !!!

Daughter No4 was recently moaning because she had turned 50.
I pointed out to her that she should be feeling sorry for ME!, I now have to say ALL of my children are in their 50s!
Daughter No 1 -> 55yo
Daughter No 2 -> 53yo
Daughter No 3 -> 52yo
Daughter No 4 -> 50yo
Son No 1 -> 54yo
Son No 2 -> 52yo
I can't remember the exact ages of the grandchildren (7 off, I could find them, if I rummaged in my Phone Calendar), but, they range from 10yo to 32yo.
The astute among you may notice, they are very close in age, that is because they are not all my biological children, I "inherited" three of them, when I met wife Mk2, and, have brought them up as if they were mine, since their biological Father showed zero interest.

The local shop wants $2500 to replace my old back door. P*** on that, I bought $600 in equipment and wood and I’ll learn how. There’s a second door that needs replacing as well, that’ll be another $100 and it’s a good use of my time.

On a more serious note, Wife Mk2 is one of 10 children. All 10 were born within 14 years, all survived (indeed they are all still alive). The first five arrived one per year, things slowed slightly after that. Her parents did get a TV in 1952/53. 😂

I only had 2. That was more than enough and I have 5 grandchildren. I hope I will be too old to look after any great grandchildren if or when they come along.

I’ve stuck the cycling on. A hilly one today and a few of Pogacar’s team have a bug so not up to supporting him. He has a huge lead though so doubt it will bother him.
