Morning all

Hedges have all been neatly trimmed. Looking a lot better now.
Just waiting for an oil seal to be delivered and then I can finish building the Puch.

Just a tip Dirk. I you look carefully the seal should gave an arrow on saying** this way round. Be sure to follow that instruction. Too many people ignore it and have continuous leaks.
**the cheaper Chinese copies DO NOT have that arrow on, so if yours doesn't you know the supplier has cheated you.
Again, no charge for my advice.

Back from my walk. Broke my (recent) record and did 4.5 miles.
I visited the lake that used to be a weekly visit for me. I used to be able access it via a low fence and walk the perimeter. The fence has been replaced with a high one and thick bushes have blocked it off.
The whole area is now overgrown.
Here is the best photo I could get.

I will try to find a photo from years ago when I was into nature photography.

So much stress last few days due to parents that my head is scrambled. Plus I have a lot of stuff to sort here.
Anyway, we all have problems it's called life. Going to try and get out for a spin before latest pile of crap lands on my doorstep!

Sympathies. I had a hard few years with my step mum then my dad with absolutely no help from my brother. It's hard going at times.

Looking forward to the cycling today. In the mountains and some of Pogacar’s team are under the weather. Think he has a big enough lead though barring a disaster.

Good race, good day for Pedersen in green and then the work he and Vecek did to close the gap for their GC riders, some of UAE are definitely under the weather but Pogacar learned a lesson the first year Vingegaard and his team beat him at the tour, the best form of defence is attack, he doesn't wait for other riders or teams to constantly attack him and weaken him he just attacks first and very few can live with him when he does,

Let's see what he does on Saturdays stage.

I mean - I knew the USA had a load of nuclear weapons

but I didn;t know just how far they had gone in terms of destroying civilisation!!!

just found out that the US government has 1.4 billion pounds of cheese stored in a cave in Missouri

The World must unite and crush this horrendous regime and eliminate these disgusting weapons!!!!

I've just eaten a whole bag of Mrs Tilly's Scottish tablet so I think I should perhaps hold off on lunch for a bit.

Crikey, just checked and it's not far off 700 calories. No wonder I'm fat!

I just looked up Scottish Tablet,
it looks a bit like Fudge. 😮

It does look a bit the same, but a difference in taste and texture.
