Looks terrific. Hope you enjoyed it .🙂

But if it was served to me I wouldn’t be able to eat any of it and I love a fry up . Just because of the tinned tomatoes, to me they would taint ALL the rest of the lovely food on the plate .
Yes, I know I am strange . 😂😀

Just a tip Dirk. I you look carefully the seal should gave an arrow on saying** this way round. Be sure to follow that instruction. Too many people ignore it and have continuous leaks.
**the cheaper Chinese copies DO NOT have that arrow on, so if yours doesn't you know the supplier has cheated you.
Again, no charge for my advice.

The spring on the inner lip always faces the medium that you wish to contain.

Dog's been walked.
Car's been washed (no hosepipe, just a soapy sponge & watering can to rinse)

Shopping's been shopped.
I bought MrsPete a Cream Horn & a bag of Jelly Babies as she's feeling a bit down at the moment..

So - the Weather

VERY windy - was going for a ride this morning but not with that wind

rain promised for about now - but forecast seems to have put it back until late afternoon/evening

Off to M&S Prescot soon - SWMBO needs bread and cheese (the things I do for love!!!)
and the cheese she likes isn;t available from the M&S food here - and Tesco's version isn;t as nice

although "nice" and "cheese" seem to be rather fighting against each other to me!!!

car hasn;t been washed for a while - looking very dusty but I'm not doing it until after tonights possible rain

actually a nephew has borrowed the pressure washer
so I should wait until he brings it back as it will get the dust and grit off better

OH - and we have no hosepipe ban here so that's OK - probably uses less water than just the hose anyway!

Oh - and my normal rides are off the table this weekend

They are filming a new Batman film on The Bridge so it is closed all weekend

there is a shuttle bus for pedestrians and cyclists - not sure whether ebikes (EAPCs) would be looked on
but riding to the bridge - getting on a bus over the new bridge - then riding round a loop just inside where the bus has just been
srt of takes the concept away a bit

I like "start at home - end up back at home" type rides

Just out of interest I just searched for jobs like my old one before Y2K
not that I want one - just being curious

ie.. programming in COBOL

first thing was a senior mainframe developer in Pontefract - which was the sort of thing I was thinking of

then it said

Similar to jobs you explored

and came up with a job as a bike courier in Preston

What???
senior programmer in a language that had it's hayday in the 1980s
is "similar" to being a bike courier???

damn computers - they'll never take off
