but just over a mile away the Silver Jubilee Bridge to Runcorn is covered in SNOW!!!


the weathre these days eh??



of course it might be something to do with them filiming Batman 97 down there
which would also explain the helicopter buzzing about

Not sure if it is just tinned tomatoes you have an aversion to?

I don’t like tomatoes in any shape or form, even touching a fresh tomato gives me the shivers, but, strangely, I don’t mind tomatoes product (ketchup, puree, pasta, etc), and, I am very fond of Italian food, which it often tomato based.

Fresh tomatoes are ok , I can take or leave them .
Tinned tomatoes and purée etc are fine in things ( I also love Italian food ).
Ketchup is terrific.
But tinned tomatoes on a fried breakfast are simply vile 😀

If you get tinned tomatoes ratehr than the chopped ones they are fine - just heat then gently and they stay whole

and they are even better with ketchup

Helicopter still buzzing around filming Batman 97

funny things is that they seem to be filming around the pub where they based Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps

which is not a Buddhist Temple

and now Batman is there

A night of surfing and Spotify my music wonderful tunes,played at 75% volume,it's every evening now,his blowing and sucking nose noises are driving me up the wall.Meal times i turn down my hearing aids,it's piggin ridiculous.A blow in to a hanky then a suck while he folds it up to find a dry area another blow then while pocketing it another suck.then five mins or so the same farce.i am totally passed off.

Err sorry no . You have just described exactly what I find so vile. 😀

As I said I know I am strange 😂, but just seeing a whole tinned tomato on a plate makes me feel sick and there is no way I could eat anything else that was on the plate with it .
I can eat most things if I have to, even if I don’t like them but not a whole tomato out of a tin. The only other thing that has the same effect on me is the smell of boiled cabbage 😂. ( I think my mum used to boil them for days and days on end when I was a small child) 😂

Yes, I posted that a couple of days ago.
@numbnuts said his group are allocated an evening slot,(no pun intended, honest ) but the robbing barstwards charge them 8 quid which I agree is taking the proverbial.

I presume the problem is that the life guards or whoever has to be on duty have objected, saying they don’t feel comfortable or something?

Morning all.
Its wet outside which is good and we are set to have showers all day, again that's good.
I 'think' i will use that as the chance to have a break from walking......is that a good idea or should I force a couple of miles in ?
I have had a decent 6 hours kip added to the 2 I had last evening so am happy with that.
