Small amount of rain here but nowhere near enough.

Up at 5:30 today and had coffee and a fry up, lazy day today so may do some admin and bill paying.

Good morning all.
A grey and overcast start to the day with a slight prospect of some of the wet stuff this morning.
Dog walk first thing, then, as MrsP is being taken out to lunch by one of her friends I will be out on the bike, stopping for a Burrito at the Burrito shack and a couple of pints in the Mitre on the way home.

Ps. I like tinned tomatoes with a cooked breakfast, I prefer them to beans. With fried bread or toast so that the juice soaks into the slices.

Good morning folks, to paraphrase Larry Grayson " What a grey day! ". Promises of drizzle this morning but nothing has arrived yet. Yesterday afternoon saw me transplanting a titanium seat post onto Mrs Tkk's Brommie. I just need to set up the saddle angle now which is a trial and error procedure.
In other business I had an email from Octopus yesterday with a bill adjustment from November 2023. The bill only covered four days in the middle of the month but the bottom line is I am now £1.18 better off 😁.

@Mo1959 It's been OK for years but the pool (it's the one I swim at) has recently been taken over by Everyone Active; everyone except naturists, that is!

No sign of the forecast rain, although it's a bit overcast and windy.
Last night, we were treated to an aerobatic display over the bay, which was visible from our garden.
Will be walking up to the Railway Inn for lunch later.

I was just on my way out to Aldi, jacket and shoes on. Thought I would get there for when they open at 8. Realised it Sunday and they dont open till 10 duh!

Wll - seems like it has rained overnight
not much as the back flags are wet - where it is shaded
and the front are almost dry

supposed to keep going all day - which will be good for the grass - it is looking very brown and brittle!

Batman filming continuing on The Bridge apparently - helicopter was buzzing around until late last night - its waiting around loop was around our house so we could here it a lot

Riverside trail walked and now half way through breakfast. Massive bowl of porridge with banana, peanut butter and maple syrup. Yummy, but no doubt high in calories! I think I might use up all the stuff I currently have in the fridge/cupboard and start fasting in August!
